Photoshop 4-Winston

Winston,Photoshop4

I decided to use a photo of my kids and I for this part of the lesson. I had problems at first with cutting out the image, because I didn’t know how to go about doing it. I had to find a few videos online, and it took me a while to figure out how to work the quick selection too. I finally got the hang of it.

One of the other problems I had was that I didn’t have the watercolor brushes downloaded on my photoshop, so I had to find some free downloads online. I ended up getting ones that were smaller than the ones on the video, so the effects didn’t come out the same. I also couldn’t understand why the feathering out around the picture for the hair portion wasn’t white. It was actually black and that is why it is dark around the image. I had the foreground color white just like in the video but it still wasn’t showing white. I tried to use colors that were present in the wig my son is wearing (he’s hanging his head upside down) though I wish the blue came out more. But overall, I think it looks pretty neat.
