Cool Hue, Digital

I mainly used different hues of blue at first, then put in some different greens for the leaves, and then used violet and blue violet for the butterflies. When I look at it, to me it looks beautiful, and makes me feel peaceful and serene, almost as if I am in a field at night but with butterflies flying around.

For the snail, I used oranges and reds, in different hues. I don’t feel angry or upset looking at the colors in this picture, but I do feel warm, almost like there is heat coming off of it.

I used the different hues of violet and yellow. I like how the lighter yellow stars almost blend into the background with the lighter violet spiral circles.

I think besides the Butterfly picture, this one is my other favorite. I used a special brush for the background with different hues of blue, and then used a brush that was shaped like grass and used different hues of green. The flowers were red-violet, red, orange, and yellow hues, with yellows hues for the lightning bugs. I like how the flowers stand out from the background.

I did these in photoshop because I haven’t really attempted the program besides the weekly photoshop lesson. I learned a lot about the different brushes and how to create different effects. It was a great learning experience.
