I chose The Scream. I got all mixed up with the coloring and did something totally different than what I wanted. I don’t know what I was thinking. I must have spaced and before I realized what I was doing it was too late. Oh well. I’ll do a better job on the next one!
I actually really like the colors you chose to complement The Scream. It still has a resemblance to the original, and the background you painted with the colors really go well together. I especially like the sky, with the light aquamarines and that almost fuchsia color. While the original painting makes me have a dreary, almost eerie feeling, the one you painted with the lighter colors actually makes me feel happy. I think if you had wanted to convey the same feeling in yours as in the original, then a different paint scheme would definitely be in order, but great job1
Really like your “viridian green” and bright red. Cool piece however there re lots more details you could have done. I like your quote “I’ll do a better job on the next one!” Will wait and see that 🙂
